Base London: opportunities in a low-carbon London

Base London addresses London’s low-carbon objectives and how City Hall policies translate into opportunities for the private sector.

It brings together public sector policy makers and administrators with the private sector organisations responsible for designing, building, managing and funding London’s low-carbon transformation.

Specifically it identifies business development opportunities in the areas of retrofitting buildings; sustainable transport; smart energy networks and renewable energy; energy management; combined heat and power/district heating; recycling and waste to energy systems.

The event also examines London’s existing and planned sustainable communities, establishing an important link between its sustainability credentials and competitiveness, thereby engaging inward investors and sustainable development and regeneration agencies.

Launched in 2010 and enjoying significant growth in 2011, Base London 2012 promises to continue this upward trajectory in bringing together the key influencers and actors in London’s low-carbon future.
